Soft in texture and round in shape is a bread typical from Madeira Island, off the Portuguese coastline. Itís origins are Arabian.
The name is derived from the way it was cooked on a tile, called caco in Portuguese. The tile was made of basalt, volcanic rock.
We brew single origin coffee, supplied by a local merchant. Or beans are roasted in batches, as and when we need.The most important thing about single origin is its traceability, the fact that you know exactly where your coffee is from and that it’s a specific coffee, not a blend. it’s the acknowledgment that the coffee is from a particular farm located in a unique setting, whilst its flavour depicts its origin, characteristics of that specific area where the coffee was grown.
Lisbon Family Vineyards is a partnership of 3 local wine producers and which make up our wine offering. All small-production and family-run, they work with both international and native grape varieties, low intervention viticulture and they champion the cool climate terroir of the North Lisbon coast.
